Planning advice is only useful if it is right. This page explains how every public guide and glossary entry on Struqt is written, checked and kept current.
Written and verified by registered architects
Every guide and glossary definition is written and verified by Struqt’s registered Australian architects, drawing on more than a decade of residential planning and construction experience across Australia. Nothing is published until an architect has signed it off.
No AI-written content
We use software to research and to keep data fresh, but we do not publish AI-generated articles. If a page carries our byline, a registered architect wrote or verified every claim on it.
Primary sources, cited
Where a page states a rule or a number, it comes from — and links to — the primary source: state planning portals and instruments, the National Construction Code, councils, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and industry bodies. We would rather show you the source than ask you to take our word for it.
Dated verification
Each guide shows the date it was last verified. Planning rules change — when a state amends a code or a council changes a policy that a page relies on, we re-verify the page and update the date. If a page is awaiting re-verification, the older date stays visible; we never refresh a date without re-checking the content.
